When Is the Rapture

When will the Rapture be? That is a question many, many people are asking and have been asking for hundreds of years. We see in Gen 5:24 that Enoch was Raptured up to be with God, and the same with Elijah in 2 Kings 2:11 he was taken up by a whirlwind into heaven. Many verse’s in the Bible point to a pre-trib rapture.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:17 we see that the word “caught” is used in this verse and caught means in Greek Harpazo, to snatch away or taken away. In Matt 24:43 we hear Jesus speaking of such things in his parables. Jesus also spoke in a metaphorical way and many parables have to do with the church and future events.

In Matt 25:1-13 Jesus is speaking of the rapture of the church. Many people do not see the metaphor here but when you look a lot deeper you will see it is all about what you need to do before the rapture. Then in Matt 25:14-46 he is speaking of the tribulation. In Rev 1:7-8 John writes about the time of Jesus returning to rapture his people away. Notice in verse 8 Jesus says, “which is to come” because at the rapture he does not touch down on earth. Jesus’ second coming is still to come at the end of the tribulation. Titus 2:13 says we need to look for that blessed hope in Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 30:7-9 speaks of the time of Jacob’s trouble which is Israels trouble not the church.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 Paul is also talking about the day of our Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture of the church because in verse 3 he writes about if you are deceived then shall you see the son of perdition be revealed which is the antichrist.

Here are some other Bible verses that talk about a rapture of the church.

Rev 4:1-2

1 Corinthians 15:51-58

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3

In 1 Thessalonians 5:1 we can see that Paul talks about the church not needing to know the times and seasons of the wrath of God being poured out upon the earth because the church will not be there for it. Paul also says in verse 3, "then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM" not us because the true believers in Christ will be raptured away.

The antichrist will be known as the son of perdition and half way through the tribulation will became the man of sin.

Gods words are very clear when you read through your Bible. You must endure to the end of the tribulation without taking the mark of the beast.

Please read the word of God and learn what is in the Bible. The end is closer than you think so repent and turn to the heavens above. Questions can be answered all you have to do is look to God and Jesus Christ his Son.

The rapture could be at any moment and very soon people will see that moment.

Please read my page on When Is the Tribulation for more accurate timeline of all coming events.

So please stay close to God and Jesus Christ.
